WELCOME TO MRP COUNSELING

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Michigan.  For nearly 30 years, I have provided therapeutic services to adults and adolescents.   Both my undergraduate and graduate degrees were earned through Michigan State University.  My education and experience has afforded me the amazing opportunity to work with adolescents and adults in a multitude of settings; from residential treatment facilities, to hospitals and emergency rooms, to community mental health agencies and private practice settings. Throughout the years I have worked with a vast range of people and their struggles.  I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and Phi Alpha Honor Society for Social Work. It is with compassion, care and understanding that I will work alongside you on your journey to healing and self-empowerment.

Treatment Philosophy

I believe therapy is a collaborative relationship that is specifically tailored to support the unique needs of each individual. I utilize a myriad of evidence based therapeutic interventions for those suffering from Trauma & PTSD, Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Survivors of Sexual Abuse, Domestic Violence, and Borderline Personality Disorder in a safe and welcoming environment.

The therapeutic process is a synergistic alliance forged between an individual and therapist which addresses distinct and unique needs and promotes recovery.
